Cats in the shower

Dear Cat,

I have no idea what's up with you sitting in the shower stall, alone, in the dark, but it needs to stop. I plop myself down on the toilet, thinking I'm by myself, and lo, there you are. It's weird and a little unsettling and I don't want to share my bathroom time with you. So no offense, but stop fucking doing it.

My cat never hid in the shower, but all the cats I've ever owned, sometimes, when I went to the bathroom and shut the door without realizing they were in there, they would just stare at me. Like "Hey, what you doin' there?"

One of the Precious Babes seems to think she has a personal invitation to the restroom every time I am in there. Because the bathroom is small, the toilet is inside the door. One day in a hurry, I apparently did not close the door right away, and was smacked in the head by an ancient doorknob when Miss Thang decided to pay a visit. Lovely.
