Of pirates and beads....and summer reading.

So what did I do with my evening yesterday? Well, I sorted purple seed beads from gold seed beads and thus I was reminded why I hadn't beaded anything in awhile. I used to have all of my beads sorted and oh so very neat, but then the cat happened. Artemis decided that the purple and gold beads should be mixed together, so he dumped both containers while I was looking a few months ago and so there are purple seed beads in my gold seed beads. AND. THIS. IS. UNEXCEPTABLE. So I tried for four hours to sort purple seed beads from gold seed beads. But then I noticed that not only were the gold and purple seed beads mixed, but there were large crystal beads in amongst them as well.....I sorted beads for four hours. Then I noticed that the cat was in the room, lurking....so this led to panic and shouting...and I swallowed the bead I was holding in my mouth. But it was not a particularly large bead so I'm hoping it will be okay.


Then I made adorable rings for rayechu. Hopefully she'll post pictures because my camera wasn't working. Well, then one of my co-workers saw the rings and wants to adapt them for the summer reading craft. I get to figure out how to make pirate rings for summer reading! Hooray! I always wanted to do a craft. If I am successful with making the pirate rings, I will post pictures and instructions for those of you are in the library business, or just simply wanna make a supah kewel ring.
