No sleep for me

So, I have to be to work in an hour and after that school which amounts to about a fifteen hour day for me and I still haven't gone to bed yet. On the plus side, both of my papers for school are done. Most assuredly they are crap, but hey, they're done and considering that I was sicker than an dog all week and had major assignments due in every class, I think I did pretty good juggling it all. Before I go to work, I think I'll tackle the first two cantos of Dante's Inferno which were assigned for today. Then maybe if I have time, read some more in Darcy Ko's foot binding book for my Gender Relations in China course. And then, sometime today, I have to look over my notes for logic as I have a test.


But you know what, that's all okey dokey with me, because it's like the coming of second Christmas for one Katie Marie O'Keefe today. Today is the release of The Orc King, R.A. Salvatore's newest Drizzt novel. And guess what? It doesn't matter that I haven't slept yet, I will be picking up that book on the way home from school and reading it. Piss on you sleepless fifteen hour day. Sleep deprivation cannot stand between me and the beautiful, lavender eye emo that is Drizzt. Who needs sleep when you've got a man with a magical panther in his pocket. Okay, end fan girl babbling.

Boo to no sleep. The only thing I have left to do as well is look at cantos 1-2. I am really hoping the shower will unstuff me a bit, as this is going to be a long-ass day. However I too, am looking forward to going to the bookstore after work.
