I am broke, broke, broke. Yesterday, I woke up with a thousand dollars in my bank account...today, forty. I had a minor medical emergency involving my own stupidity about when I should re-order contacts and am now half blind. On top of that 1-800-CONTACTS wouldn't let me re-order without a new prescription...so that was a seventy dollar doctor visit because I am uninsured as of right now. And one hundred dollars for the aforementioned contacts. Then I bought a 418.00 pair of glasses....of which the lenses cost three hundred and ten dollars. Grrrr. However, they are sooper cool, sooper hip librarian glasses and I look awesome in them....I think....I can't see so well right now and, well, I'm taking the saleslady and
rokk_lobster's words for it. Then I paid my exorbitantly expensive insurance payment and my car payment...leaving me with forty bucks. I am a sad snowflake right now. Also, only having half of my vision has been very interesting. I am misreading lots of signs now. I thought that one of the signs on the highway to Sandusky said 10 miles to Fucktown....but it was Bucktown, sadly.
On the brighter side...New glasses! New glasses! I haven't had glasses in like three years and I miss them so. They made me look smarter than I really am and people just automatically assumed I was intelligent, even when I was being a dumbass. I have missed the glasses bias so.
