I have no idea what's going on here because I've only just started the book. The passage is from The Blade Itself by Joe Ambercrombie. The nearest book technically was Cenotaxis by Sean Williams, but Cenotaxis has no page 123.

Oh sorry! You are way more honest than me, m'dear. I lucked out. Last time I was tagged for this meme, the nearest book at hand was the phone book and I had to opt out for ethical reasons.
