Pushing Daisies
Jan. 31st, 2009 09:36 pmI know I fall in love so easily! It's not a bad thing, so I suppose no one is going to be surprised when I say I am in love love with Pushing Daisies. I mean, what's not to love? Lee Pace is adorable as Ned. Chuck is awesome. Ned and Chuck's relationship is so sweet and silly and wonderful, I can't help but melt like a half-baked cup cake on a warm oven top. There are delicious pies everywhere! I want a tart apple pie with gruyere baked into the top. I want Emerson Cod to knit me a gun holster. I want crazy, socially phobic aunties. I want a sweet doggie named Digby.
I absolutely adore the narrator and how color saturated the world is. The show is so full of the kitschy and the bizarre and the awesome. Why, why did I not watch this show sooner?
