darkelf105As if learning Mandarin Chinese wasn't hard enough, why, oh why Chinese Coach, are your requirements for mastering a character so exacting? I am obviously not going to get the exact same stroke that your "masters" would use, especially since I am not a machine. I have taken Chinese before. I got A's on my character writing, I have written these before. Trust me, the character for middle (zhong) which you so earnestly inform me that I have not mastered, is about the only thing I retained from my previous Mandarin courses.
Oy vey. Now I can't move onto the next lesson.
Also, would some Pinyin hurt ? I know it is a bit of a crutch, but for a native English speaker who is used to script, going directly to memorizing characters is TEH HARD.
Whine done, going to go play the World Ends With You on my break instead of trying to master a language in which I have absolutely no proficiency.
