I'm totally not as stressed as a should be about finals, but that's okay. I actually took most of this week off and have ::gasp:: done most of the readings for class so all I have to do in preparation for my finals on Friday is finish up the assigned readings in Plutarch, read Amphitryo and review my notes. Woot! I have two research papers due next week that I haven't started on, but I have Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to worry about that as I am off. Yay! I also have a paper for Professor Kang due, but that's cool because I know exactly what I'm going to write about for once and have such a solid A in the class that I'm not worried.

In other news, I fused Mothman in Persona 3. Okay, okay, I know he's not the most useful or powerful persona evah, but he's adorable and more  importantly, he reminds me of one of my favorite professors and the folklore class he taught. Man, I hate John Keel and his stupid book (in case you don't know Keel is the arrogant sonuvabitch that wrote The Mothman Prophecies). Well, needless to say, the professor was simultaneously perturbed and amused by the mothman phenomenom(a) and I wrote a paper about how John Keel was an awful lot like Dracula in the way they functioned narrative-wise. Well, I dunno if the professor just hated Keel that much or my paper was that good, but I have a soft spot for anything Mothman. Also, yes, the movie DID scare the beejebus out of me, thank you. So needless to say, I'm keeping Mothman around. Plus, he's carrying an item.


Also, tonight is my night of junk TV and it is Giant Killer Fish of Doom II on MonsterQuest and this makes me so happy. I also have a thing for sea monsters and I love, love, love when they do fish/aquatic "monsters". I can't help that the show hurts so good. I remember the last time I watched the giant fish episodes on MQ and was introduced to fish noodling. LOL! I previously did not know about this "sport" and was empty and incomplete because of it. Now I am whole and I wonder what ridiculous travesty I will witness tonight.

Also, Star Trek comes out this weekend, which means next Friday, when I have time, my ass will be in a movie seat. LALALALALALALALA! I hope I don't see any spoilers.
