Bride of the Water God Volume 3

I read Bride of the Water God Volume 3 last night. I must admit, I do not know what is going on, can keep no one straight and basically loved it because it was ridiculous and pretty. Oh was it pretty.

However, I am quickly losing patience with Habaek/Mui. Can't ya just tell a girl ya love her? Srsly, why the elaborate plan that plays with memories and forgetting and is going to cause so much heartbreak for everyone?

Also, I think I may be less confused if I knew a bit about Korean mythology...but I'm sorta enjoying the not knowing what the hell is going on or who any of the main characters are, so maybe I'll just keep myself in the dark. Sides, you don't need to think to appreciate pretty.

And lastly, freckled musicians for the win. I really, really hope she comes back because so far the minstrel type character is my favorite. I just wish I could remember names.

Yes, he sure does. I'm getting anxious, though, because I have this feeling that all these stupid machinations by all these stupid god characters that I can't keep straight are going to come together to cause Soah no amount of heartbreak and probably,somehow, be blamed all on her. Which isn't fair because she didn't do anything to any of them and didn't ask to be dragged into their world. ::sigh:: but I suppose if you're immortal it almost always makes you part asshat, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
