Bored, but not too bored
Jun. 24th, 2006 12:34 pmI have been up all night writing. It's great, well the act of writing, not the actually writing (I haven't relooked at it to be sure if it is even coherent). I feel so much better. And I have new Cere stuff for you to look at
rayechu for I am way too attached and sensitive about Cere to post it online. It's not like the Broken Land stuff we are collaborating with
rokk_lobster where it is A)his world and thus his baby B) I know at least three other people besides my self love Shasta Daisy the blue half-fiend, Kiriel the celestial ass-kicker, Hanali the super neat vampire, Mita the bomb-chucking werewolf, Altares, well, he's a butler with razor wire in his sword, how much cooler can that be? as well as Pheonix and her never ending army of undead...and Khale, the dark elf who gets everything he deserves. (I also realize that we sound like little kids with out characters...well fine, if you're going to be a DEMON than I'll be a vampire....AND my werewolf will have bombs. WELL FINE, now my lover is totally like an angel so take that!) Just writing about them makes me smile as I think about the D&D games that spawned them. We are such dorks, but I can live with that. But Cere comes completely and totally from me and the world isn't like the D&D based stuff that comes so easily to write. It's different and needs way better prose than I write for the Broken Lands to keep it alive, and I worry that I will never be able to write the way I need to to tell this story. But at least Fang is neat and Maran, too.
