I normally don't rant about music because A) I have lamentable taste and thus no one really wants my recommendations or B) music is BACKGROUND to my life. I know people who would die without their ipods, who travel hundreds of miles to see live music, I'm not one of them. The book, the written text, is so much more central to my being that I am above and foremost a visual person, and visual meaning text oriented because I can't even begin to express what I feel about art.
