Ugh, still running a bit of a fever. I am waiting for the advil to kick in so I can get comfortable and go to sleep because I have work and school tomorrow. Finished "White Guardian". Was pleasantly surprised as it was a yaoi with a plot. A mediocre plot, but plot nevertheless. The art was solid, the characterization was solid and the smexin, while nothing I haven't seen before, was solid. All in all a solid, enjoyable piece of smut with plenty of pretty men having plenty of pretty, gooey sex. I liked it enough to order the next in the series, which is rare, as I am a hit and run perv. I generally just order for the pretty men and the pretty sex and not for the story so I am surprised that I actually want to know what happens next.

So who got home to discover that volume three of "The Cain Saga", volume six of "Cantarella" and the yaoi have been eagerly awaiting volume three of "Black Knight" were waiting at her front door? C'este moi (if that's right). Why of course. Except a quick flip through of Black Knight reveals NO SEX SCENES. WHY IS THERE NO HOT SMEXIN IN MY YAOI? But who would rather read the sexless Black Knight then write their folklore paper? Why me!

Okay I give up, I don't care if it's late, I'm just doing the damn thing tomorrow. I always feel better on Wednesday nights anyway because that was hump day and the weekend is almost here.

In further news, thank you to whoever recommended Mogwai's album "Mr. Beast". It came in today and I must say, good cd, good cd...and there are enough lyric-less songs so that I can listen to it when I write. So hooray!
