New obsession

I have a new obsession. Toshiro Mifune. Is he made of 100% samurai? I think so. Except when he's made of win, of course.  Did not know he was in Midway.

So, I only have time to re-read one Peter S. Beagle novel this year and I am torn. My absolute favorite novel of his [Poll #1131506]

I'm such a scaredy cat.

Soooooooooo, I picked up Kuon the other day from the library (someone left it like three months ago and never came to reclaim it.) I paid the library ten bucks and brought it home. There are no instructions, these have apparently been lost. And the makers of Kuon do not believe in tutorials so rokk_lobster and I have no idea what we are doing. All's I know is that this freaking game is atmospheric and bloody as all hell. There are gaki and worse lurking around and I was the idiot who picked the character who isn't an exorcist to start with. I'm stuck in a bloody (literally and figuratively) manor in Heian era Japan, with only a knife, my stupid sister has disappeared, corpses keep moving, and there are creepy, creepy children. I want to cry and am now glad I started the game on "daydream" as opposed to "insomnia" or "nightmare". At least I can kill the gaki. Gah. Stoopid lack of instructions. 


ETA: Now that freaking corpses are falling from things, I'm gonna let Ryan handle the game awhile whilst I run, fast, very fast because I am a wuss wander sedately, like any normal, non-scared adult, to my car and grab that box of star crunches I was saving. Then I'm gonna get a blanket and hide sit like on the couch like and normal adult and not share with anyone....well, maybe Ryan can have one....just one. And no more. 

ETA: I am not going to sleep at all tonight.
