Okay, after [livejournal.com profile] lady_bell's guilty confession that she adores the Daleks because they are adorable, I had to rethink my opinion of them. I had originally thought they were kinda stupid and that some pretty sweet theme music had been wasted on them.

Now that I'm going to be moving onto S3, I have also come to the conclusion that they are made of teh_awesome.

I think it's that note of hysteria in their voices. That little, little scream they get at the end of all their sentences.

On that note, I tried talking like a Dalek for a day. I was amused. I think my family was going to kill me. They did not take my threatening with the egg beater and toilet plunger as seriously as they should. Clearly, they don't know Daleks.

That being said, I had a hysterical, sleep deprived vision of a Dalek reading poetry. This then led me to another thought: What would Dalek poetry be like? A million points of win to whoever writes some Dalek poetry. A million, gazillion more to whoever can rhyme EXTERMINATE!!!!!!

Zomg, mark this on your calendars.

On 24 June 2008, one Katie Marie O'Keefe of Amherst, Ohio did discover at approximately 8:24 p.m., on a Tuesday, which was also pay day, that Giant Eagle sells Dippin Dots in their ice cream section.

OMG, THEY SELL DIPPIN DOTS IN THE GROCERY STORE. HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THAT?!!!!!

::cough:: they are off brand::cough:: but omg, so Dippin Dots.

Also, on this, the day of the great Dippin Dots discovery, one Artemis Entreri, cat, pro-napper, professional book chewer and cracker thief, discovered Cheez-its.

It was love at fist bite.
