Lol, my co-worker has just theorized that in reality, the destruction of the Statue of Liberty in almost every disaster/end-of-the-world movie made in America is not American insecurity over their place in the world or a symbolic way of representing the fall of civilization as has been posited, but instead is a sign of America's deep and abiding hatred and mistrust of the French. This makes me laugh.


Also, I need to remember: "As I sit on the toilet of my mind and experience mental constipation, in the end, all that comes out anyways is shit."
