rokk_lobster and Professor Kang. Needless to say, I gots to babble and make an ass of myself. Luckily he is nice and I distracted him from my complete lack of self-control when excited by asking about books dealing with the Black Death in China (or what was MOST likely the Black Death in China. See? It's not just a European thing). He's getting back to me. I also decided that even though I ♥ the Middle Ages, I think I want to study the early modern era for my masters degree. That's where it's at man.
Also, I must start brushing up on my Mandarin. There is an awful lot of Chinese scholarship that needs to be brought over into English....
