Booky thoughts?

So I think I may have asked what people like in a book and what their favorite bits of shiny are, but now I have another question. Is there anything that an author can put in a book that will stop you cold from reading it? Or is it all just a matter of how the author handles things?

Fall is in the air!

Oh man, it's gorgeous out. Wish I wasn't at work all damn day.

But after work will be nice. Totally taking the parental units out for dinner at Old Prague for their 25th anniversary. My brother actaully suggested that we do this, so it's extra nice.

I wonder if the Soda Fountain on the main drag through Vermilion has their delicious pumpkin flavored ice cream yet because I think chicken paprikas with spaetzle (since mama makes dumplings, I gotta get spaetzle where I can) and some pumpkin ice cream sound awesome. Plus Old Prague has lots of delicious imported Czech beer. Eeeee, my stomach is growling just thinking about.

...and of course, when it's all over, there will be Dissidia because I still haven't beat the Onion Knight's story mode yet.
