....and there are scary ass faeries. Huzzah!

Ooh, I read that recently! I actually liked it quite a lot; the explanation of NeverNever Land and the pirates is kind of awesome.

Yay! I just bought it at the bookstore the other day. I'm only like ten pages in. I was concerned because I know Brom primarily as a visual artist and I was kinda like, "Well, his art is sweet. Totally have his portrait of Drizzt hanging above my bed, and Pharaun* is in the hallway...but can he write?"


*I am ashamed to admit that Brom only came to my attention because he did all the art for The War of the Spider Queen books. The dark elves never looked so sinister.
