Trans-Siberian Orchestra=awesome! Even though I fell asleep for a bit. The claustrophobia and tension from all the people, not so great. Came home, puked, feel better now. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] rokk_lobster for taking me to Borders. [livejournal.com profile] rayechu so totally starting on that short story for you. I named my little tailor. His name is Kiva. I think I will use Odile and Odet (a purposeful misspelling) for the swans. The sorcerer's name is sooooo staying the same. I am pretty psyched that you pushed me to enter. Like I said, chances of my short story getting included in the anthology zero to none, however you will have a retelling of your favorite ballet with two hot gay guys and a sweet knight-princess. So I guess it works. Maybe [livejournal.com profile] rokk_lobster can help me illustrate it? Just remember, you gotta push for it, or it won't get done cuz I lose confidence in my writing ability really, really fast.

Oh I am awesome. My misspelling of Odette is REALLY the male form for it. I soooooo rock. Now I am looking for the male form of Odile, but you know, if it's not as cool sounding, I am just totally keeping it.

The boy's name Odilo is of Old German origin, and its meaning is "fortunate or prosperous in battle." From the root name Otthild. Saint Odilo was an 11th-century monk and abbott of the influential monastery at Cluny who instituted the observation of All Souls' day on November 2. French painter Odilon Redon.

Odilo has 6 variant forms: Odile, Odilio, Odilon, Otildo, Ottild and Ottildo. That is what I have come up with for Odile, so it seems like it could be a boy's name, too. Sooooo keeping it.

OK. Now that I have internet access again (possibly) I am officially fangirling this story. Do it. Do it. Do it. Like now, 'cause I am bored and don't want to do homework.
