Man, I am sooooo tired. I can't wait for the library to close so I can go home. I usually like coming into work, but today I am just not feeling it. I wanna be outta here so bad.  I only worked a seven hour day and it is dragging. On a brighter note I finished "The Uglies" by Scotte Westerfield an "Against Love" and "A Female Thing" by Laura Kipnis as well as "Vampire Knight". I know I should write reviews for them, but my brain is so tired right now that I know I wouldn't do them justice. But I will say this, all recommendable.  I will probably write reviews later, when I am at home and can think about what I read cogently and coherently. Laura Kipnis writes very funny and very erudite essays on the female condition and "The Uglies" had some very pertinents themes in it, but I just can't type anything more that would come out semi-intelligent. Damn, I have forty more minutes.

Not really related to your post but..
1. The Black Cauldron came today in excellent condition.
2. The uglies reminded me of Melucine(?) that you mentioned before, and they are apparently making a movie with puppets.

I didn't mean they were similar as books, I haven't read them so I couldn't know. Just you mentioning the uglies reminded me of it. That is the Neil Gaiman one right? Or is that Coraline?

Um, Neil Gaiman has not written any of the books I have read lately. Are they making Coraline with puppets, because that makes since, but neither Melusine nor The Uglies would be good with puppets, or as movies, because I would be sad.

Feh, Melusine/Coraline sound similar, but yeah they are making a puppet movie.
