Alea iacta est....
Jan. 31st, 2007 01:06 pmHahaha, I love reading manga. I am currently reading volume five of Bleach and I come to the chapter (is that what you call it?) called "Crossing the Rubicon". Ishida challenges Ichigo to see how many hollows they can fight by crumbling what he calls "hollow bait" to the wind. Now that's totally awesome, because, once he has scattered that to the wind, they have reached the point of no return (thus the Rubicon reference) but Ichida also says "The die is cast" which is what Caesar supposedly said when he crossed the Rubicon during the Roman Civil Wars. So it all ties nicely together. Awesome, so whilst not as layered as, say, Shakespeare, still pretty damn cool.
