Mar. 8th, 2007 04:51 pmSo "Le Chevalier D'eon" pretty much rocks my world. It is set on the eve of the French Revolution, a topic I only know a smidgen about, so I ordered myself some books on the subject. And a biography on Louis XV because he seems like such a complex king. Oh and one on his Queen, Marie, and one on Paul Whitehead, as I looked on wikipedia and saw that he's a character. So the reading list of doom grows steadily larger. And last night, while watching my favorite character, Durrand, who is a hottie, I was thinking, you know what would make this perfect? Hakkai. Then I realized that Durrand's English voice actor was the same voice actor who played Gojyo in "Saiyuki" so close enough. I like the way that man's voice sounds, kinda razor-like and he clips his words cool. So win.
Comic stuff this weekend
rokk_lobster and
rayechu. Also, short story updates, soonish. Let's vote...who wants to see the beginnings of Shasta Daisy's adventures in the Broken Lands and who wants to see a revision of the ghost story I did for class?
Also,
fenixcerelius, Artemis knocked over a whole tower of my dvds, "Saiyuki" however, did not fall, even though it was in the middle of the stack of about one hundred anime. So I guess that's further proof of my hypothesis that if the world were to end in nuclear devastation, Cher, cockroaches, and "Saiyuki" would still be around. "Saiyuki" would probably start a new season. I heart Hakkai.
