So I am grumpy, but, there is hope, a balm for my anger, so to speak. I am such I fat kid. I feel better about being at work today because my mom called and told me she is making pastalitos this weekend for my brother dude's birfday. I am excited, my stomach even more so. Also, an interesting looking novel came through today.  It is called Fires on the Plain by Shohei Ooka. It is about a Japanese soldier captured  while in the Philipines by Americans. It deals with all the themes that turn me on AND has Christianity as it's center, even though it is a Japanese novel. Apparently the Western concept of God in this novel, however, is something that Westerners will find shocking, so I am interested. Will blog, I promise. I have been pretty good about say at least SOMETHING about what I have been reading :). Maybe.

I didn't know it was your brother dudes birthday. Tell him I said happy birthday. Also- I was telling my sister about your call for story ideas and she is going to let me know what she wants the next time I talk to her. (She has no internet until May.)

Okay. Just let me know if she wants one. I started Stephen's....yours will be more problematic because I want to be the awesomest story ever.

Lol. I can wait for stories, I am patient. Well, I can be sometimes. Obviously she wants one! She just needs some time to compile exactly what she wants, so she'll tell me the next time I see her.

I am trying. Sometime the weekend I will finish the first writing excercise I started from "The Three A.M. Ephinany" and post that. It's really boring, but god it's turning out to be difficult to write. Do you have your phone yet? How was class?

Class was okay, we certainly fulfilled the time requirement. I blogged about it a few minutes ago. And no, I do not have my phone yet. My parents are out of town at a billiards tournament. I don't know when they will be back. (It depends on how well they do.) So lord knows when I will get it. ;.; I miss my little phone, and the time/date function, and it is really strange not talking to you at all this week. I might grab the writing book and practice something myself before I work on the third assignment. I want to start soon, as we don't have a chance to revise that one, and I need to get it done before everything else in school is due.

Lol. That is quite funny. It reminds me quite a bit of the old European pictures of lions that don't look anything like them.

I think I am still an 18. I'd have to go grab my game to check though. I haven't been playing much lately as it takes 10-20 minutes per battle and I only have a few minutes here and there to play.

I am sad to say the Snopes reports this story as false. I am sad, as I was amused by rich Japanese women walking sheep and dressing them up.

I was going to say, it sounds a little far-fetched but I wouldn't be shocked either way. I know the Japanese manga-ka love to draw little dogs, but they do a lot of research for their manga, so I didn't know if that would be common knowledge or not.
