Not enough hours in the day...

I've been so busy lately. Took a road trip through southern Ohio and have come to the realization that Ohio is a very, very "speshul" place full of very, very "speshul" people. Had a pop rocks milk shake, which I must say is so full of win that I actually squirmed at the table like a little kid. It's been awhile since I had pop rocks.  And saw 30 Days of Night. 

And was scared shitless, bringing me to the stunning conclusion that I am a great big wuss.

However, that being said:

Best.

Freaking.

Vampire.

Movie.

Evar.

There, had my share. I loved the comics, but the movie made my heart race and my stomach churn....there's something unsettling about a whole town disappearing without a sound.

Now I have to get throught two more hours of work and go home and write about how the Inferno is kinda like an inverted Maslow's Pyramid of Hierarchical Needs. And then to work on my "Jorinda and Jorindel" retelling. I saw a post about it somewhere and I want to turn in a story. I don't think there's a chance in hell I'll be published, but I want to at least try and start writing at least every few days or I will never finish anything and a professional deadline is a good kick in the pants to keep me going. Will need beta and proof readers if anyone is interested.

I think I liked the comics a little better. The relationship of the couple seemed really flat to me, but I don't know if it was because they changed them to being a younger couple or if it was due to their "distant" relationship.
