 The book polls that are glutting the intrawebs are addicting. But, I find myself feeling very frivolous and vapid as I look at whole lists in which the only thing I've read is Harry Potter. This causes much wailing and gnashing of teeth on my part as I like to think I read fairly intelligent stuff. But that, sadly, appears to be but an illusion, especially now that I've gone over what I read last year. It was all about ghosties and orcs with some male/male sexin' in between.

Really? There were a lot I had where I didn't click much besides Harry Potter, but I think only two polls where I clicked nothing and one where the only one I hit was HP. More classics for me this year. (Ben is bringing me his copy of Emma.)
