What have you guys been reading? Anything good? It's summer vacation and I have a few months before school in which to read whatever.

Looking for suggestions....or if you read a really, really crappy book, feel free to lay it on me.




(sooper-sekritly I'm hoping something will wake up my Shasta Daisy muse. He seems to have died a horrible death and the Broken Lands story is going nowhere, nowhere I say!)

I have read... nothing lately due to all of my books being in the apartment and not wanting to read much the last few days. I started the book about the girl from Iran that was sitting in the back and it was okay, but not anything to write home about. I am planning on checking out RRPL later today so I might find something interesting there. The only other thing I have done was be hobotaku at the borders and catch up on Penguin Revolution, and try Pet Shop of Horrors: Tokyo.

Lol, I hear, ya. That being said, I do have a copy of Pet Shop of Horror: Tokyo. I think I shall read it.

Was it as good as the original? I think I asked this question, but I don't remember now.

I think it was exactly like the original. Which means slightly episodic and you have a new guy that is trying to get to D, but there really isn't any huge difference on storytelling, art, layout, etc.

OT:
Did I tell you the other night I had my brother play magic with me and I think he kind of liked it so we went and got him a red/green theme deck? He has to work 3-midnight tonight so he can't come today but next time around I think he will be free and able to play.

Also- we are totally going to need counters with my deck. I hope you grabbed them from home or when you stop at home to get your cards I would much appreciate it if you did. If not I might have to take a trot to the dollar store and see if they have some there. I left a message that Clare is supposed to call on your lunch btu to let me know if I need to go pick up pizza or whatever.

Red/Black though eventually I want to experiment with the other colors too. I think I got some really cool blue and white cards, as well as several interesting greens.

Oh thank the god I don't believe in, cuz if you were playing a red/green like you were saying, you'd be unstoppable, at least for me. Stoopid Ryan's red/white deck demolished me last night. His cards all targeted blue/green stuff and the only cards that I have to target specific stuff is black.

No steven got the red/green. Though I had been considering that and blue/black and green/black and green/white cause well the white has unicorns.

D'aawwwww, you want come visit moi? Well I dunno what works best with your schedules, but I have a break in between spring finals and summer class from June 6th - June 16th. Any ol' weekend after June 5th is fine though. I'll keep an eye out for anything special going on down here, but I have an idea of where we could go anytime.

Yes we want to come visit you. Ideally we would leave like on a Wednesday night and see you Thursday and maybe Friday. I'll will talk to Clare and Jen and Nicky and Ryan and see what they want to do.
