Where, or where, did the Mibu Clan get such slutty nurse outfits in 17th century Japan? And why are they arming their clansmen with such, erm, large beach balls?

Sasuke's new sword looks more like a cattle prod. Which is appropriate, I think, because you'd kinda need one if you had to deal with Yukimura all the time.


Mahiro is still so hawt.

I contracted some icky tummy virus and have been pretty much confined to bed. I did not intend to get this far in the anime without reading further in the manga. Ah well.


Why can't I find a good icon of Yuya? I mean, I've found absolutely gorgeous ones of her looking serious, but I always associate her with being sweet and goofy...

Yuya is not a badass fighter chick or an angsty bishie, and so the fandom thinks she isn't as good or interesting.

Yay! I actaully ganked quite a few from your second batch. Definitely will credit when I get the slots to use them :). I ♥ the Yuya and Mahiro one...hmmm, I've noticed that this the only icon I have with women...this is sorta upsetting.

I have been poking around different communities and journals about SDK and have noticed a definite either lack of love for Yuya or a downright meaness about her. Which confuses me, because to me, she is the glue that holds the whole darn series together. Plus she is genuinely nice wihtout being a sacrificial victim. I like nice characters.

Yeah, without Yuya, everything literally falls apart. Aside from Kyo and Kyoshiro, if you add together the importance of every one or everyone's precious bishies, they still aren't as important as she is.

Exactly. Like, I will grant that I am shallow and started to read/watch the series because of all the bishounen, but I find that really, when it comes down to it, Yuya and her actions/reactions are kinda all I really care about (well, Mahiro too because I adore sexy ninja ladies). I love the character development of all the assorted over powered warrior characters, but without Yuya's very normal, very kind perspective to see them through, I'd probably be turned off. It's kinda like, okay, Yuya likes/loves/cares about them and thus I do too.

EXACTLY! There are a few characters that I like more than I do Yuya, but I find my attention drifting anytime she isn't around, because they started turning into average shounen bishies.
