Oh the epic battleness of it all!

darkelf105My hands ache. My arms ache. I may have trigger finger. I don't care, for tonight, I shall go home and finish up Onion Knight's story-mode and maybe Terra's (she's so squee worthy!). I may have to regroup to do the Warrior of Light's, as he is the last story mode and the hardest rated.
I didn't do the story modes in any kind of order that made sense. In fact, I kicked out the two I found the most attractive first. That's right Firion and Cecil. And Firion's Dissidia persona makes me long for my little SP copy of II. A world full of wild roses! EEEEEEE, so silly. Then I did Tidus and Cloud because they start together with Cecil and Firion, and thus their story modes seemed to be the most interesting, which they were, but I was also happily surprised and amused by the combination of Bartz, Zidane and Squall. I, uh, actually like Squall a lot more because of his characterization in this game. Sure, he's emo and aloof...but, but...he was SAD that he decided not to go off with Zidane and Bartz. He THANKED Zidane for saving his righteously hot ass, and was SINCERE. And he went off with them in the end. I loved, loved, loved it.
Here are some thoughts:
The Emperor is from henceforth to be known as the Golden Fruitloop.
Kuja's costume makes me want to get a private room with him....but is awkward as hell when trying to fight him...also he has very nice legs and I've come to the realization that I have serious issues and may need help with them. But it cements my conviction to find a copy of IX and play it. I must admit, I have never played IX. For shame.
I cannot keep all the huge, gigantic, enourmous, armour-wearing characters straight. I spend half the fight trying to figure out who the hell it is. Huh is that Golbez...no I think it's Garland....uh, no, never mind, it's Exdeath.....oh shit, NEVER MIND it was Cecil in dark knight form. Dangit, shoulda known, cuz he's like half the size and more emo.
OMG HOLY SHIT, it's Sephiroth...and he's five levels higher than me. I MUST learn to check levels before engaging. Because, let me tell you, even though Sephi isn't that hard a battle, he is still pee your pants inducing. It's almost like that time in Kingdom Hearts II when I turned the corner and there he was. I remember I said a long string of swear words starting with F and ending in uck...Ryan's reaction was even worse. I believe he laughed and then said," Shiiiiiiiiit, I bet you have to fight 'im. This is gonna hurt." And it did. I didn't get more than three hits in before he pwned me.
I love this game.
