Whelp, took my last finals today. Turned in my portfolio (with a completed short story, I might add) and well, am remembered not as the brilliant student who lead discussions in class (Well actually for the most part the professor and I would discuss and everyone would sit around and stare dumbly out the window) but as the kid who missed a lot of class. Not happy. Oh well. In further news, [livejournal.com profile] rayechu and I went to Best Buy where she bought Final Fantasy III and I bought [livejournal.com profile] rokk_lobster a case for his new DS. We are now all playing III and I know Ryan and I are loving it. Hopefully Nicky does, too :). Played D&D. And missed The Lost Room. Oh well, I will watch it all tomorrow night. I really did enjoy it. I like the idea of ordinary things have extraordinary uses. I hope that the show continues to get better.

Best news though! While looking at the steel mill, I had the idea for a children's novel. I will write it about a factory that makes things that are destined to be lost. I am very excited and am going to sit down and thrash out some of the details. It will be nice to have something other to work on than Cere, especially since this will be a different vein.

Memeage!

Katie discovered an alternate dimension.
... afterward, Katie ate some macaroni and cheese.

Oh wow. That's pretty much exactly how it would happen too. Fuck alternative universes, I'm hungry, anyone want mac n' cheese?
