Library Stuff

Hehehe, I'm such a dork. I got to tell a patron  to "Journey to the West" today. Of course they thought I meant the West side (which I did) but you all get the Saiyuki/ slash ancient Chinses novel reference, right? Anywho, that made me laugh. Also, there's a live Mariachi band here and it is awesome. I love live music, especially Mariachi, but I also love Tehano music, too. Curiously enough the library is celebrating Cinco de Mayo on today, May the second. Hmmmms. The program is also being hosted by a Panamanian, which is also, hmmmm. Anywho, I want enchiladas and mole and chile now. Num nums.

Cinco de Mayo Emo

Man, the cute little Mexican dancers are here at the library and that just brings back all my former bitterness. I wanted to be a Mexican dancer DAMMIT! But noooooooooooooooo my dad won that fight and we were Irish dancers. And my sister tripped me on the stage. Angst. 


Edited: Oh yeah, my dad definitely deprived me of the chance of being freakingly, unbearably adorable. Damn you dad. Yellow was not my color. I could have worn red or green or orange!
