Herodotos called. He wants you to reread the parts in The Histories where he describes the Persians. Also, phalanxes work better when the soldiers are wearing armor and not man-diapers.
Just passing along the information, it's been circling around the old brain pan since I was subjected to the puke fest that was your comic book adapted into a movie. I thought maybe this might not have been pointed out to you yet.
Also, never, ever take the Greeks at face value, especially if you're using their vase paintings for reference. The Greeks were idealists. Also, never underestimate their douchebagery-ness.
They also didn't fight naked...most of the time.
